Until I come up with a better word, I will be calling the Argo a submarine. This particular bit of technology figures largely into the story. The Argo is named for the ship sailed by the Argonauts. Empyrean Industries has a lot riding on this particular bit of technology.

Empyrean industries primary product is transportation. Cars, Personal Flying Apparatuses, Trains and of course, Airships!
This is the Aeolus, Myles & Dr. Cavendish’s personal airship. It is names after the Greek god of the Winds. Naturally, it’s alway state of the art and is constantly being upgraded to the best things Myles comes up with. It is the ultimate luxury yacht of airships, that is if yachts came with the military grame offensive and defensive technology. The Aeolus is one of those things most people covet.

This is the Apple Carver Machine AKA the Runaway machine. This is a rather shabby machine made by another inventor that is used by the villains as an impromptu weapon against Myles & Co.

This is the mechanical bird which figures greatly in the story. Myles is making them as a gift for his niece Victoria. There is a number of birds, actually, but this is the basic design for the birds. Real bird anatomy was used to create the overall effect. They are made out of brass, copper and silver; and as the key suggests, are clockwork.

Of all the devices I’ve come up with thus far, I consider this one the most “Anime.” The spikes on the device allows it to embed itself into surfaces. The device transmits sound and picture to persons that have the receiver. This was NOT invented by Myles.

This is Myles’s obsession, the Perpetual Motion Machine. It’s a machine that causes as much energy as is uses so need no other means of energy. This is a very quick drawing, not very technical. It was more the idea of the machine. Technically, this machine does nothing. It’s just meant to run. However, Myles has yet to get the thing to work.

This is a cooling coil which is one of the minor devices that feature in the story. I had to research real coils to create this. That being said, this is a creation of my own mind. Not exactly exciting I know.

Pyott is an avid tester of Myles’s machines. He particularly likes the flying machines. Thus, Myles is often trying to perfect the personal flying apparatus for him. This is a mix of rocket pack and the winged glider to steering.

This is Rosejack’s least used weapon, her throwing daggers. She has a number of these hidden in various places on her person.
